Born From the Colorado Floods
J & B Simply Clean Carpets was established in November of 2013 by Jake and Brooke-Lynn Killingbeck, a Colorado-native couple with a passion for quality service and honest business practices. Both were raised in Colorado — Jake in Longmont and Brooke-Lynn in the Westminster area.
During the devastating Colorado floods of September 2013, Jake worked for a restoration company in Lyons, CO, where he gained firsthand expertise with carpet cleaning and water mitigation equipment. The couple relocated briefly to Austin, TX, where the company was founded and spent four years serving the local community.
With a growing family — sons Spencer and Connor — they felt the pull to return home to Colorado, and J & B Simply Clean Carpets has since brought its experience and drive to Northern Colorado's residents and businesses.

Jake Killingbeck
President / CEO
Jake was born and raised in Longmont, CO and graduated from Longmont High School in 2005. After working in machine shops and service industry positions while attending college, he later worked as a bartender in Denver where he met Brooke-Lynn. During the Colorado floods in September 2013, Jake worked for a restoration company in Lyons, CO, where he became highly skilled with carpet cleaning and mitigation equipment. He went on to found J & B Simply Clean Carpets.
Brooke-Lynn Killingbeck
Vice President
Brooke-Lynn grew up in the Westminster, CO area, graduating from Legacy High School in 2003. She earned multiple degrees from Metro State University and the University of Denver. She met Jake while working as a cocktail waitress during her schooling years. She is now a Director of Events for an international education company. Together, Jake and Brooke-Lynn have two sons, Spencer and Connor.
